In Action

Tigran took this video the other day and we thought we would share. This is Ejheni doing "the bird" which is when she shakes her head left and right wanting to eat. She usually is way more into it than in the video but it gives you a good idea...

Ejheni Update

We have successfully kept Ejheni alive for 11 days and counting. Other than an extreme lack of sleep all four Mdivanian's are doing well. Cali misses her long naps while we are at work and we miss sleeping at night. Ejheni wakes up every 2 to 3 hours during the night to feed and usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get back to sleep which means both Tigran and I usually get 3-4 hours of actual intermittent sleep at night. But all this is expected so we'll hang in there!

Ejheni went to her first Grandview Girls' Soccer game last Thursday and then attended the JV and Varsity games on Saturday. She likes car rides, stroller rides, and the sound of running water.

She's Here

Baby Mdivanian has finally arrived. Ejheni Lynn Mdivanian was born yesterday (9/10/09) at 3:28 p.m. She is 7 lbs 5 oz and 18" long. She has a full head of dark brown hair!

We both were so excited that despite all the boy predictions that she was a little girl (even though Tigran initially forgot to even look until I asked him what she was! He said he was just excited it was a baby)

Here are some initial pictures:
